The Loop Ring Revolver Centre Snaffle features a lozenge centre which revolves to allow either side of the bit to move independently in the mouth. This provides the rider with independent rein action, whilst the alternate side of the bit stays stable in the mouth.
The loop ring (also known as a Wilkie Bit) can be used to allow the rider to gain extra control by attaching the cheek pieces to the top loop, increasing poll and lip pressure. When pressure is applied to the rein, the action on the cheek pieces promotes pressure on the poll to bring the head down. To further increase this, the reins can be attached to the lower loop.
